Micah John Tarry is an East Texas attorney with a diverse professional and educational background. Before attending law school, Micah was a Sales Manager at Vector Marketing, a small business Owner of Tarry’s Pressure Washing, and a Legal Assistant at Flowers Davis, P.L.L.C. He spent his two summers during law school interning at Roberts & Roberts Law Firm. Upon receiving his J.D., he returned to Roberts & Roberts as the Pre-Litigation Manager. After his time at Roberts & Roberts, he went to work at Mayo Mendolia & Vice, L.L.P. where he handled a variety of civil and criminal matters, with a primary practice focused upon real estate law, business formation and litigation, contracts, and transactional issues. In October of 2015, he decided to form his own firm, Micah J. Tarry, P.C., in order to specialize in real estate and business law.


Micah received both his Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Social Work from Baylor University. While receiving his B.A., he served as Chaplain for his fraternity Phi Gamma Delta and studied Spanish for two summers at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico.

While receiving his M.S.W., he taught English at Yeungjin College in South Korea, served as Program Manager for Communities in Schools of Central Texas where he created and implemented the “Dare to Be Aware” curriculum, served as a founding board member, the Board Co-coordinator, and the Evaluation Coordinator for The Campus Kitchen at Baylor University, and served as a Social Work Intern for the Christian Life Commission where he researched and developed the database infrastructure for the Texas Baptist Offering for World Hunger and Texas Hunger Initiative and hosted the 2009 Hunger Policy Summit. Micah graduated with his M.S.W., magna cum laude.

After eight years in Bear Country, Micah went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law. While receiving his J.D., he studied international law at the Universidad de Guanajuato in Mexico, served as a Student Attorney for the Oklahoma City University Immigration Law Clinic at Catholic Charities of Oklahoma City, served as Treasurer for the International Human Rights Law Association and Secretary for the Christian Legal Society. Micah is licensed to practice law in Texas.


Micah was born on November 28, 1981, in Tyler, Texas. He is the eldest of three boys and has an older half-sister. He attended Grace Community School from kindergarten through high school graduation and was a member of Bethel Bible Church. Micah now attends Grace Community Church at the University Boulevard Campus. He enjoys spending time with friends and family, relaxing at the lake, camping at the family farm, traveling, playing tennis, and running the Rose Rudman trails.
